Hot Air Ballooning requires some active participation from passengers and, as such, a minimum level of fitness and well being is required. By noting your agreement at time of booking, you are confirming that no member of your booking party has:

• Significant knee, hip, back or neck injury or issues;
• Any other existing conditions that would preclude them from following the pilots instructions; climbing abroad the balloon using the footholds cut into the side of the basket; Assuming the landing positions with knees bent when instructed to do so; Absorbing a small bump when the balloon is landing or would prevent them from holding on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing.
• Had surgeries or broken bones within the past 3 months; or are currently under doctors supervision regarding surgery or injury, regardless of when surgery or injury occurred;
• An individual weight in excess of 140kg

Or Is:

• Unable to stand for one hour unassisted,
• Currently pregnant
• Less than 7 years or age or
• Under 120cm tall.

In purchasing a Gift Voucher, Flight Ticket or Flexi Ticket you will be agreeing to the Hunter Valley Ballooning Terms & Conditions.

Important points to note:

• Gift Vouchers are valid until the expiry date displayed on the voucher and are NON-REFUNDABLE. A cooling off period of 14 days from purchase applies to all gift vouchers only.
• Flight Tickets are valid for 36 months only and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Valid Flexi Vouchers only can be refunded less a small administration fee (where applicable).
• Ballooning is weather dependant so from time to time flights may have to be cancelled to ensure passenger safety. Should your flight be cancelled, simply call our Reservations Office to reschedule your flight date.
• Ballooning is not suitable for people with significant knee, hip or back problems, pregnant ladies, people with disabilities that prevent them from standing for one hour and people recovering from operations.
• Failure to arrive for your flight or cancellation within 72 hours of your flight time will result in the forfeit of the full cost of your flight. No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed.
• No changes to booking date can be made within 72 hours of your scheduled flight date.

Ballooning can involve some active participation and as such, a moderate level of fitness and wellbeing is required.

All members of your party will need to be fit & well with:

• No significant knee problems,
• No significant hip problems,
• No significant back or neck problems,
• No recent surgeries or broken bones,
• No other existing conditions that would preclude them from following the pilot's instructions; Assuming the landing positions with knees bent when instructed to do so, Absorbing a small bump when the ballooning is landing or would prevent them from holding on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing.
• Are able to stand for one hour unassisted,
• Do not weigh more than 140kg individually and children do not weigh more than 50kg individually,
• Are not currently pregnant.
